Stopped by Valley Falls for a couple of laps of the Annual Strider Fat-Ass run. First lap ccw, 2nd lap cw (so I got to see everyone...). Pushed it pretty hard, felt like I was redlining most of the way, though I'm sure I wasn't. Lots of mud and running water, very wet feet right from the start as there was no good reason to pussy foot around the margins of the first swamp we came to - just crash right on through.
And then off to work, where I'm now avoiding actually doing 'the work'. But the sun is coming out now, so can't avoid it much longer.
{edit: wow - almost half my time spent in the red zone. I guess I was working it pretty hard. Don't think I've had that much red in any given week at all during 2018}
