Run - Trail long (Valley Falls <> Andover) 2:48:00 [3] 30.0 km (5:36 / km) +160m 5:27 / km
shoes: NB 790 {orange}

Late run w/ Bruce, Mark and Scott - they started at 8 in Vernon, but due to family committments, I couldn't join them until 9, so I met them on the rail trail above Valley Falls and headed toward Andover. Right from the start my left leg was tight in the glute and baxck of upper thigh. Ran with the lights off for the most part - the lighter stonedust surface contrasted well with darker surrounding ground so staying on the trail was easy and a very nice evening to be running - clear and low 50's. As we neared Andover (aid at 7-11) my left foot began to get a pins/needles feeling - not painful, but disconcerting. On the return leg it didn't get any worse, but didn't get any better either. The others were planning to exit the rail trail at Steeles Crossing and add some road mileage before rejoining at Valley Falls, I opted to part company with them and ran solo for the 5 or so miles back to Valley Falls just before midnight - finished the run at 29.6km, so I ran down the road and back just to make it an even 30km. Great night for a long run, but the left leg thing has me worried - I've had issues with that leg 3 of the last 4 long runs. Northern Nipmuck it was fine, but the others have been iffy... Need to do some more research.
