Run - Mixed (Lake & back) 51:37 [3] 10.5 km (4:55 / km) +85m 4:43 / km

A real live run!!! woohoo!!
sunny & high 40's, so snuck out for a midafternoon jaunt between cleaning the house and guests coming for dinner later on. Down the dirt road, then over to the lake. Since the lake is so low, I jumped the bank and ran just above the waterline which was about 60' from 'shore' for the most part. Mostly firm, but a few shoe sucking areas. Returned via the dirt road (closed for winter) which was mostly slushy or icy - take your choice. A couple brief fast, long stride bursts on the road as I approached home. Glad to get out...
AOWN - a close encounter with a docile Ruffed Grouse in full ruffness...
