another evening in the basement. After 20 minutes of spinning easily in my middle gear, I cranked it up onto my largest combination and jammed for 5 minutes (117 inches, 45kph). Couldn't read at that exertion and it was a lot of work, but probably good for me now that I've got a couple hundred miles of easy spinning to accustom the muscles to the new bike. Then I backed off to another 15 minutes of easy spinning to cool down. First time I've broken a serious sweat on the trainer though..

1st session of Happy Feet - 40 1st & 2nd graders. Went outside and played a running game. But most of my running was jogging to/from the playground with the kids..
