Did a ride from Home to O'connor (finn kayaks), then to Mountain designs in Cottesloe & Cottesloe central in search for a bladder with a long tube. Then went to work to get my running shoes. Rode from there to Willetton via melville Rays outdoors. Tried going to the bike shop to get a new riding jersy and had to go to TBE on high road. Then legged it over to Burrendah MetrO race.

Did my 6km loop around mosman park again. Shaved another 15 seconds off my PB. I think I am going to need to extend my loop to around the 8Km mark as I am finding its too short a run.

Very Gentle paddle from fresh water bay to water police in freo, returned via East Freo yacht club, did a mandatory portage walk accross the sandbar at point walter and went across and then back around into fresh water bay.

Decided to give andrew a sporting chance and just gently cruise around the river. Did not want to go too hard with the bay2beach on sunday.

Did a 1km sprint at the end into the wind and did around 5:35.

In training for bay2beach did a session from Johnson street to North Mole and return. Wanted to get a rough idea what kind of split to the North Mole I would have so that on race day I can gauge my pace.

The harbour is actually a lot longer than I thought. It got quite rough just before south mole and I was getting waves hitting me in the chest and face as I paddled out to north mole.

Made it to north mole in 1:05:10 and the return trip was 57:13. There was a light to medium headwind up to the North mole. Did not really feel like a tail wind on the way home as was feeling quite tired. Left shoulder was not feeling too good by the time I got back. Had to take a few 10 second breaks on the way back as I was getting pretty tired at the end of it all.

Was using sportypal GPS software on my phone and had the following stats:
Best(1500 m): 11.56 km/h
Max Speed: 13.90 km/h
Max Pace: 04:19 min/km

Ride from Amanda's place (ardross) to Langley park for the start of the big bike ride.

Technically not really a race...was a charity event.

Easterly was so good starting the course. Was sitting on 38-48Km/hr along mounts bay road. Felt really good wizzing past roadies on a MTB. Ride along the river around Nedlands, Claremont and mosman park were good. The killer hill on Johnson street was not really that bad though. So many people walking it...I just powered up the hill. Made it to Freo within 40 mins, so felt good. Passed a lot of people

Turned around and was straight into the wind. Did not really like it. Got to the freeway and was cramping up by the time i reached mill point exit. Rest of the ride was very slow. Lots of people passed me.

Overall had a good average for a MTB. Need to do more riding.
