Pretty sweet turn-out for the Ski-O. I was worried a few weeks ago with only 9 people registered, but by race-time it was an "event". Really nice job, Julia, Pete, Mike and others.... pulling this one together.
Most of my day seemed to be waiting and then hurrying to try not to miss all the fun things going on in TC.
Ski-O volunteering- 3.5 hours. Out to control 1 a few times and back... walk/jog
Trying to stay warm at the Start, while waiting for everyone to finish and bring back controls, jogging around fire (10 loops). Had lots of catching up time w some of my favorite MNOCers. (and of course also with our cabin guests, Soupbone and the legendary Wik)
Jogging from car to catch up to Andrei and hotdog, trying to make it in time to see foxshadow and biz on the biking (missed it), jogging back to car to try to make to Prairie Home Companion in time, from car to theatre (made it). But missed the Luminairy event due to long show.
Loved all the fun on the lakes. Felt like we were in a Brueghel.
