WOA/CDOA champs middle distance. A fun and fast course with lots of turning and loops. The setter made good use of a small area of beautiful forest! I got caught napping in the first set of loops by the cause and unfortunately by Mick and his camera too =(. the last part of the course was a lot easier and I bagged a good bunch of splits which was great but could only pull myself up to 4th. I lost less than 3 minutes all up.

WOA champs. finished 4th wich was good, but I lost time on some dodgy controls. I also made some smaller mistakes because I was being a bit lazy with the mpa reading. I also felt a bit slow towards the end.

8 200m sprints with a tail wind. Felt good to stride out and get some speed up too. Was resting well.

Run with Matt from Muriwai. Wanted to find the MTB tracks down the slope opposite to the golf course. Counted 6 through the tree. But it was quite confusing because some times the were 2 entrances to a track or tracks joined and we were running hard on the uphills and thinking tends to turn to shit. Knees were sore on the down hill.

Tried my new Salomon Speedcross 2s. They are very good for trail running it the trails are even underfoot. Bit on uneven ground they were too high and I didnt get good control. I also noticed it was hard not to heal strike on the down hills because of the raised heal unlike my inov-8s were I can still land on my forefoot.

Good ride, was going pretty hard most of the time. knees still sore a bit. I moved my seat around a bit and it felt better than before though

Felt stronger than Ive felt in a while. Hard ride and partcially hilly. Knees a bit sore again =/
