OOC running training. we switched it up this week and had the training at Bell high school. for warm-up we did a few short loops around the school and in the forest behind. then did the same thing, but in a different order again but at a faster pace for the loops. then we went across the highway to Bruce pit and did 3x of the toboggan hill. we then entered the dog park and did some stride star exercises across two different depressions. finished with two length of the gravel trail with 2 min rest between.
XC running practice. went down to the Beaver pond and did lengths of the trail along the pond, one length to the hill, then back to the parking lot, then about 2/3 to the hill and back, then a short one about 300m down the trail. then did the long and medium ones again.
