Long sprint. Went steady but foot started playing up around the 3k mark. Fun and challenging course set by Tony Simpkins. Warm 70F non humid Perth winter day! Caught up with some old and new acquaintances.

Note

A welcome homecoming with various emotions. The tyranny of distance and the frailty of old age coming to mind. Anyhow a good reunion which has sparked their spirits. Put to work chauffeuring and general factotum; happy to do it though.

Twilight hike up the escarpment with good views towards Perth. Mobs of Roos out grazing and some pretty wild flowers starting
to emerge.

Around Medicne lake and the Luce line trail, much debris, including large trees down. We got off lightly in the storms.
