Struggled in a few tracks - then I realised I'd got a heavy bar so was actually up 2kg before I started.

Some stretching - though not making inroads with hip/glute.

Flat course and was never going to tax the mind. But orreo did a great job - loved the course. Long legs did me no favours - glute soreness restricting stride and can't stretch out so become tentative. Still made good use of area and the time spent out. so as for running - yes at the very end of the group, but pleased overall to have moved up to the Long course.
Next week is Finals and rockman's courses on a new map. Interested that max HR is lower consistently - I'd like to think it was increased fitness but in reality it is probably because I'm not able to push as hard as previously. May improve in the bush - or maybe not.

3 weeks since my last S&T class - felt refreshed to be back, but noticeably short. Appreciating the difference between gyms and class lengths. A few niggly twinges in R glute and top of hamstring and ITB. aarrgghh.

Fantastic class, though i felt a bit sleepy at the start. Strong all the way through - both mentally and physically. nagging twinges are just that - nagging. Will do a lot of stretching tonight but not confident.

The sound of the skipping ropes hitting the carpet was drowned out by the sound of rain on the roof. Lots of interval stuff - feel like I'm on maintenance in this class until Liv comes back. The good news is that the Park series has only 2 weeks to go (the bad is that we are doing the finals) but when that happens I can move to a Wednesday am class - more cross training with mad woman Corey so this class will be less of an essential than I currently rely on it to be.

Board Meeting - 10am - 3:50pm. Ho hum - train trips and connections very helpful.
