Fun sprint in Forest Park. I anticipated an open run on rolling terrain, but got a heavily wooded tromp with a few good challenges.

Note

The last local "beginner" biathlon session is this Sunday in Elk River. Looks like the MNOC folks going to STL will miss it. There is an event at Mt. Itaska the following weekend. I think I will wait until next year.

Full compliment of subs, so we didn't get as much training time. Sloppy 3-1 win. Got the first goal. Embarrassing toe kick.

I wanted to see what the Garmin would register as my resting heart rate. When I got up this AM, I put on the heart monitor and rested on the couch for 15 minutes. May do this once a month to see if there is change or variation.

Well, I guess I won't get a histogram. Average of 56 with a high of 68 would imply a low of 44.

Training Run with Clark and Will. Good run around the lakes. One pit stop. The trails weren't overly icy or wet. Slick in spots but good for the most part.
