orienteering 1:16:10 [3] 8.0 km (9:31 / km) +150m 8:42 / km
shoes: sauncony kinvara 2

Alright day of orienteering. First mistake was leaving o shoes at home so I was stuck wearing my kinvaras which arent too great for orienteering. I had a lot of fun on the new map of Washington crossing state park. The courses Bob burg made were excellent. I easily could of taken 10 mins off my time today if I was prepared and more serious but hey you gotta have some fun days since last weekend was soo serious. Or else you will lose interest.

FRIZ 1:45:00 [3]
shoes: sauncony kinvara 2

Nothing like a good game of ultimate to get your speed up. Also made up for my laziness/bad habit over break.

elliptical 20:00 [3]

20 mins on the elyptical at the end of the school day to break a good sweat and to loosen up my legs.

Running 1:00:00 [3] 8.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: sauncony kinvara 2

Nice static stretch

40 min run

8x110M after my run with 12 seconds between each.

Note

Well since I have a short 5 day break coming up I've set myself a goal to run 70km over break. Sounds realistic? Going to go for it.

Running 1:30:00 [3] 9.0 km (10:00 / km)

Warm up stretch and run

4.5 miles hard

Cool down and a 200M dash trying to expand my stride my coach tried to say we could do it in 50 steps. We all called BS since that is 4M a step. I did it in about 100 strides with my short legs

Note

Picking back up on the log for Jeff

orienteering race 45:40 [3] 4.8 km (9:31 / km) +135m 8:20 / km

Excellent run today. Was able to keep control of the course and have a good flow in the woods. I think all the skills greg Balter is teaching me really came into play today and felt natural. I hope to have more great runs like this in the near future.
