Debated calling it a hike or run. Hike up, run down. Downhill running like this is something you just can't train for easily in Indiana.

HR strap died. Wrist monitor is not that accurate. Pretty positive I never got 187.

Typically a 2.5 day guided climb due mostly to the long approach (requires paddling!) the goal was to knock it out in one long day, guided by Mark Smiley from Exum. Wouldn't have been a problem if not for the snow and moisture remaining above 10k. First went from an anticipated 16 hour effort to knowing it would be 20+. Then had to turn around about 500 feet shy from the summit to keep it from getting too "epic". Still an awesome day of climbing. The paddles made it feel almost a little like an AR...
