Much better day today than yesterday.

Forgot my O-socks, lucky had a pair of work socks which are comfy, but unfortunately no leg protection!

Forgot to clear and check, but this didn't actually faze me. Confident to 1, Not sure about route choice for 2, but decided to go around on the low side and came up past #13 and punched #2 just after GB came in. #3 simple, On the way to #4 passed fletch who pre-sumed I was on my way up to #2. Pretty slow up the hill and out to the track in front of GB. Further up the track Fletch appeared but didn't look down the track to see me. Was able to stick about 100-150m behind him...

Lost fletch at #4, but he went to the track for #5 and mustve made a mistake since I saw him leaving it just as I was getting there. On the way to #6 had a massive stack down the 4WD'er road and completely covered in mud. Couldn't really see the map anymore since it was covered in mud but kind of knew where I needed to go already. Caught Fletch properly at #7, but i was a bit slow to #8, bu surprisingly saw him there again. I stopped for a drink and was slow p the hill to #9 and he was gone again. Could see him in the distance to #10 and noticed him running too low and past the control. He realised quickly however and we got to #10 at the same time. To #11 Fletch went more left than me, but we ended up on the same rock surface losing a few seconds before realising where it was.

I was slow out of #11 after falling over in the low scrub a couple of times, Fletch went right on the big rocks while I went throuh the middle. Bit unsure in the control circle until saw Fletch run in. To #13 Fletch went right, I decided to go more straight, and thought I could get out infront of him, but ended up coming around the hill and there he was again! Bit unsure into #13 until we saw Henry sprint down the hill. Together into #14.

Tried to keep up with Henry to #15 until I realised that wasn't going to happen.... Really slow up the hill to #16, and got a bit confused around the control when Craig caught me and I punched it just before him. Ran off not taking the track route, and turned around and didn't see Craig. Freaked out that maybe the control wasn't the correct one so ran back to check losing a minute. #17 was straightforward. #18 had a bit of trouble finding the right gully, maybe lost a minute. #19 started running off slightl the wron way but simle bearing off the track to get it easily. #20 was a little tricky since my map was missing the detail around te control from where it was folded, but found it alright. 21 and 22 were easy. #23 ran slightly left so when I hit the creek I knew which wa to follow it around. The rest was straightforward...

Overall really happy with how I did and how my body held up. Pretty bruised up from a couple of good stacks!
