Road/trail 30:00 [2] 2.5 mi (12:00 / mi)

In Hanover on Dartmouth campus after a hepatitis C CME day. Had to hurry along as 3 doggies home undoubtedly had full bladders & empty stomachs as Beth left at 0930. The usual amount of energy to observe on a college campus. Horrendous traffic on Rt 120 between Lebanon & Hanover. Another R&R day, reasonable to do.

Activity was everywhere, eg...

Lengthening shadows (myself included) as in day, season, year, life (ironic be the green grass)

Walking 12:00 [1] 0.4 mi (29:59 / mi)

PM DP, dark but with moon. Played in Sandbox with Beetle as guest. All three love to run up to the top & gaze on all below.

Mocha got a bucket bath after - it should (by now) be a signal to her that she's on tap @ NHH tomorrow for pet therapy - a day she can bask in attention & be fragrant to boot. She's willing to give up the scent of "rolled-on carrion" for such attention.

Corn Maze O looks like a lot of fun but Saturday competition is so close to home that I feel compelled to remain close by after. I was unaware of corn maze designs until PG's intro. Amazing stuff - need to see how they're designed/made. It will be another first time fun event - BG was one western MA one many years ago. Maybe corn O will grow....

Oops, went to learn more about the competition to find that it was around sundown today. Sigh...so behind am I. Well, those who work (from any kind of distance) can cry foul - a mid-week, self-selective winnowing down: retired, unemployed, inappropriately energetic, just plain local, loco or some combination:-). Quite the creative web page, love the logo.

Now that some time has passed, I'm bemoaning my lack of "something" on Sat #5 and Sun #9.... Something was amiss - was it the wallet (now all but gone) or all the boat stuff? Did all contrive to make for unaccountable mind-map contact lapses...? Will never know but mental where-with-all is paramount. If not between the ears, at least carry it in the "backpack" for ready reference.
