USOC day 2, B run - good first leg/start; loss of contact on way to #3 for too long but kept on going & regained not 100m from control!; good enough thru #8 but no good plan to 9, losing some 3' - another minute on way to #10 (no excuse) and 30' being too far left on run in - 4.5' at the very end.....Walked up with Kevin Teschendorf not knowing it - duh, too bad as I've spent quite a bit og time with Gale & always wondered what Kevin might be like, look like etc - now I know & wish I'd asked this fellow his name - thought he might have been Canadian or even from Europe.
Superb meet: venue, org, terrain, competition etc. Disappointed with my performance, allowed myself to lose map contact more than I'd have liked. My left hamstring passed muster just fine. Interestingly, the right is now grumbling due to the slip/stretch on a wet log in Saturday's "marsh survey."
