I considered driving to Tobyhanna to ski the 8k loop there. But the prospect of breaking trail on my own in even deeper snow for that long was not appealing at all. Plus I've got (thankfully) more translation work coming through. So I decided to stay close to home today since the conditions are beautiful here also. At least they're beautiful once I packed down the snow enough.
I was hoping to get back into the forest soon. But it looks like Pachamama has decided that we're going to focus on skiing and snowshoeing for now.

I was basically always breaking trail for this. The snow is coming down fast. We're already at 15 inches and they're saying the worst of the storm is yet to come. I'm very glad I have skis and snowshoes for the next two weeks or so because we're supposed to get a few more storms coming through. It'll be fun to get fit in the snow!
