14x1 Minute structured fartlek workout with 1 minute rests in between. This workout was harder than I expected it to be. I was hurting by number 5 and many negative thoughts started leaking into my head when I thought about how much I had left. Still I trusted that my training has prepared me for this and that through mental toughness and focus I would not only make it through the workout but run it well. And that is exactly what happened. I worked off alot of bikers and closed on alot of bikers in front of me. These weren't just recreational bikers but fairly serious looking bikers who were moving well. So overall it turned out well. The last 20 seconds of the last one I surpassed a pain barrier. This means that I was at a point where I was thinking I couldn't run any faster because it hurt so much. Then I decided to go faster and see what happened. What happened was that it hurt more and I went faster... but I didn't die or pass out or anything negative. So I've gotta familarize myself with that pain more.
