Burkhart Preserve trails. 5x60sec hills with walk/jog back down recovery. Plus warmup, cooldown and some additional distance afterwards. About 130m with 18m climb for each hill, done using two different segments with the same starting point. A couple log crossings, one significant. Low 80s, overcast, humid - quite draining.

Nockamixon SP bike trails. Did pretty much all of the trails (except Jaywalk and Eastern Woods, where I did the same segments on the return that I did on the way out - lower Jaywalk, upper Eastern Woods). Left my watch on the charger so recorded the track using Trailforks on my phone. No HR so I fudged the intensity levels to be about what previous similar rides were. Since it was Sunday of a holiday weekend, area was fairly busy. Plus they were doing some trail work in a couple of places (Thank you! - although do we really need another bump on Haycock?). Sunny, about 80F and dry.

UsnyligO course at Hickory Run set up by Sandy a few months ago. Lots of short legs, all on the westernmost part of the Sand Springs map, northwest of Hickory Run (the creek). Parts of the woods in this area are a bit more open, but there is still plenty of in-your-face beech saplings and enough deadfall in places to be a nuisance. Did well for the first 10 controls then distracted myself on the way to 11 and lost contact. Okay to 12 and 13 then the woods got thicker for 14, 15 and 16 and it became a bit of a slog. Tired (and therefore sloppy) for the rest of the course but just kept plugging along. Very nice weatherwise - sunny, dry and 70ish.

Walking Purchase trails. Parked at the hospital at the east end of the park, which avoids having to do a big climb at the end (and a big descent to start). Still plenty of ups and downs. And rocks. Sunny, 80F with low humidity - quite nice.
