Dickie Scramble w/Tom
Solid gravel ride in SE Minnesota out of the town of Elgin with approximately 50 riders. Things were a little chilly at the start and I was regretting the short fingered gloves with temps in the 40s, but the day warmed up nicely over the next two hours and felt fine the rest of the day. Unfortunately had 3 flat tires on the day, which took Tom and I off the lead pack only 15-20 minutes into the ride.
Lots of great bluffs and scenic views though. Melting snow was like air conditioning with the breeze. Streams were flowing strong with the dissipating 12+ inches of snow they had gotten earlier in the week. One minimum maintenance road still had 2 inches of slush for us to bike through.
Fun day for a perfect AR training ride!
