Running 55:00 [2]

Very fun run with Lampi from her place in Kirks ferry or whatever it is called. She rode her fat-bike and i ran, and the pace was pretty good for both of us. Super fun trails, north of highway 5.

After that off to the Wakefield Christmas Market!

Running 55:00 [3]

It was an actual dark and stormy night but kinda warm so made it up just in time to the Tuesday Night Trail run. And to quote Bob Cole, Oh Baby, was that fun.

Leaving from P5 Dave found a trail straight west and straight up the hill from the Parkway in a wee corner between Ridge, Penguin picnic ground and well the top of the hill. The workout was climb a mega steep trail, then a few loops of this trail I've never been on, then back down the hill to the Parkway and back up the hill. Great workout trying to keep the pace up on the wet slippery single track.

By the end of the night, was snowing up there.

Running 1:09:00 [2]

Morning run with Francis and the OOC crowd from P7. I thought it would be a group run, but instead we each had a map and picked our own route, most of us doing some of Francis' future test course along Penguin. NFL was also going from P7 and ran into Lise's group north of Skyline. Footing was excellent. Legs still sore.

Afterwards went to Biscotti for coffee (new section now open, the slow manopoly of the Chelsea Pub ownership creeping throughout Old Chelsea). As usual, coffee and food very nice there and service super poor.

Then went to Karl and Meg's place and waxed 5 pairs of skis to get ready for the start of ski season. Whenever that will be.

Cross-country skiing 50:00 [2]

Well after waxing skis I thought about skiing, but then worked on stuff at home instead. Then Nicky being Nicky sent me a text way too late and that got me out the door to ski at Nakkertok.

They have about a 1km open give or take and pretty fun loop to ski. My RCS felt pretty quick, but switched with Nicky as she was hurtin so she used mine and I used her Atomics.

Legs feel way better post skiing.

Also, I'm working on something fun for COF 50th which I'll post in the next day or so.
