Running 30:00 [1]

Quick run after work. And now it's getting cold which makes the waxing from last night useless. Excellent...

But, it is going to be nice and fast on Saturday for sure.

Note

Man I am so glad I'm not a First Round Draft Pick and trying to make the US National Orienteering team!

What's the loss in naming a 21 year old to their C team who is a top graduating junior and is exactly the age that people quit and go off and play ultimate. Because of not having enough ranking points?

This model works for US Track when you have huge numbers, but when your pool is so shallow, really?

Also, please notice the weather in Edmonton.

30:00 [3]

Went to my wee gym for half an hour before getting back to planning Canadian International Council event for Tues night. Also, mega cold out there.

Mixture of treadmill, bike and weights.

Cross-country skiing long (Classic) 2:00:00 [3]

Long classic ski at Blackfoot. Just a perfect day for skiing, around -5. I was a little slick with the wax, should have gone up a level to a multi-grade purple rather than the Vhauti blue.

Now this was a fun day of double-poling, way nicer than Jasper. Made me wish I was doing the Birkie and not the sprint camp.

Ran into Ulf around half-way and skied about 10 km back with him except I was working way harder. Also, sections of trails had the grooming destroyed thanks to the elk.

Ulf had good Sudbury stories to tell and is super keen on getting the nordic club doing some Orienteering.
