Warming-up and then cooling down for ski practice. Probably my first "real" day of coaching as Duncan had to take over another group. Felt fun to be coaching and leading a group again.
One of those days you had to suck it up and just work hard with the waxing. Let's see, hard iced base with fresh snow falling during the workout. Lovely. Blue Klister covered by Swix Green-Blue. It was pretty much gone instantly with all the ice in the snow.

Cross-country skiing (classic) 31:00 [3]
3x10 minute Intervals. I'll say zone3, but was into zone 4 for a good chunk. Round and round at Goldbar down on the flats. Sadly Woodcutters wasn't groomed so we had to stick to the flats which meant just double poling.
My double poling still needs work, sometimes things click, others I can still feel myself sitting back on my heels too much.
Ski practice, actually did some coaching today as Duncan is going to start spliting the group up. Lots of legs only 2-Skate. Super mega fast conditions, like crazy fast.
Classic ski at Pyramid Lake, up the fire road which was all uphill one way, and then way easier on the way back. Had been groomed maybe last week, but really didn't look it, mostly skied in.
Jasper is lovely and all, but the lack of grooming is an issue for any future ski trips. Probably should have done tele at Marmot one of the days.
