Running 1:00:00 [2]

Saturday morning run, mostly Mill Creek with Aengus.

Pretty much a perfect day for running. If anything the sky was just a bit too blue.

Wee run in the valley after work on a perfect day in Edmonton

Running race 37:46 [5] 8.0 km (4:43 / km)

Frank's Wed Night XC Race:
Emily Murphy Park, 8km. Only 352 racers, Won by Frank theBeef and Roxanne Skoreyko

I was convinced to do this race by my Director and who ever said "You can race yourself into shape" never said what an unpleasant experienced the early races are. Also, I'm sure it helps if you weren't sick for just under a week as well. Went out super gentle which lasted for 1km and then the rest just wasn't very fun at all.

Being passed by a kid who's up to my ribcage made me remember getting smoked by a tiny kid who turned out to be Nate Brennan. No pressure on this kid, but he was doing a trail race in tri shorts, so good luck to him.

Yes, 352 racers. Not bad Edmonton.
I would not advise putting Wed Night Orienteering up against that.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [1]

Warming up before the race. On my old bread-and-butter trails from Edmonton Round 1. Pretty much the trails of the COC Relay event.

So there are two events in Ontario that are both called Rogaines. I've asked on here if there was any discussion on why they are using that term and no one's answered either. I'm not asking for them to change the name, just to see if there was any discussion on it.
