Cross-country skiing (skating) 1:30:00 [1]

The morning ski turned into a mid-afternoon one, but went with 6'B and she was pretty good. Nice temperature and enough snow to use the RCS.

P7 along Ridge.

Running 45:00 [1]

Run after work to clear my head.

So, sounds like my awesome housing is going to come to an end and suddenly I have to find another place to live.

I hate looking for a place to live.

Running 45:00 [1]

First run in a bit and mostly an excuse to go out and clear the lungs.

So, what sports look the best at Best of Banff style events?

Rank or vote:
1) Mountain Biking (name your style but North Shore stuff always looks extra deadly)
2) Climbing
3) Kayaking/canoe
4) Alpine ski and snowboard
5) Other recreational pursuits

Note

Finally feeling better.

Went to the Best of the Banff Mountain Film Fest at the Bytowne. Pretty solid collection of films, go see it. The long doc was about 2 dudes who kayaked from Australia to NZ.

I spoke with the organizer from Banff Arts Centre and she's been there for 10 years and had never heard of a film about Orienteering being submitted. And she sort of knew of the sport.

Hmmm, a good O short (ie. less than 15 minutes). I think it would make the festival, but it would have to be done right. It would have to show off Orienteering incredibly well.

But, there was a scene featuring Orienteering for a split second during the sponsors section at the beginning. Can anyone guess the brand and where the event might be?
