Cross-country skiing (skating) 1:15:00 [1]

Skiing around at the Edmonton Downhill Ski Club, just like old times on Mt. Doke in Hamilton. Trying to coach some junior boys who didn't want to work very hard because they have a long race of 6km on Saturday. Was pretty crazy on the limited amount of snow.
One of the Juniors was using a pair of last year's Fischer Carbon RCS to train on. I asked if he was crazy and he said "nah, these are my rocks skis, I had to get a pair of the new ones with speed holes this year".

Here are Pierre and Alex Harvey kicking ass and taking names:

Wicked to watch old school skating.

Cross-country skiing intervals (skating) 15:00 [4]

Some intensity putting the Junior Boys in their place.

Cross-country skiing (skating) 15:00 [4]

Some skate intervals putting Junior Boys in their place. I can still offset like a demon.

Cross-country skiing (skating) 45:00 [1]

Skating around trying to get juniors to actually pick up the pace a bit. Les said some of them are really talented, from the neck down.

Spent the morning doing a Written Communications Test for Public Safety Canada. Really painful of course; summarize a big article to less than 450 words in 90 minutes. At least I didn't have to re-do the Situational Judgment Test.

Running 45:00 [1]

Run after work.

Got the go ahead to hold an Adventure Run in Edmonton on April 24. It has the potential to be awesome, or it will be cold and wet.

Will start looking for course consultants asap.

With Run the Wild for May, we already have a potential series in Alberta.
