Orienteering Race 25:16 [5] 3.1 km (8:09 / km)
slept:5.0

Edmonton Corporate Challenge racing anchor for Gov of Alberta United.

Totally slept in after late night; just made it on time.

We were in about 5 after Al the first leg runner, and Marta held us there about 9 minutes back of EPCOR.

Nice sprint course, like an Orange course. I went way off one leg (2-3) and lost a couple of minutes on Robin. There was one mega climb which was hard, but managed to keep going.

I ran just fast enough to past the EPCOR team and others and bring home the bacon to be the first team to finish. Robin ran 20 minutes to have the fast time of the day; he says he's in poor shape.

Not surprisingly didn't get a feel/flow for the course until the end considering how little time on a map this spring. Hopefully get some more training in before Westerns.
