Cross-country skiing 45:00 [1]

Skating around Nakkertok after the event at Easterns. Getting nasty and wet throughout the day.

Cross-country skiing (skating) 45:00 [2]
shoes: Skate Boots

Skated the Nakkertok Race course after setting up for Easterns that happen Sat/Sun. I really should be racing, everyone and their dog, except for many T-Bay guys, will be there. It was very very wet, my skiis were not waxed right, plus nothing was gliding on some of the stuff. Fresh Air sold out of Rosa today...

Running warm up/down 40:00 [1]
shoes: Asics 2070

Warming up and cooling down at the SuperDome indoor track. So should not have had that pizza this afternoon....

Running intervals 15:00 [5]
shoes: Asics 2070

Again, I think it was about 15 minutes of intervals, maybe a little less. Legs felt just awful, but I ran okay. Pretty solid on pace with Freddy. He looked mega smooth of course. I'm getting stronger over the longer distances, now we're getting serious, and I'm able to handle a 600m on the track interval.

Cross-country skiing tempo (skating) 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: Skate Boots

Skiing today from Freddy's new place with Dougie. I would wager that the Gatineau Park was the nicest place in the world to ski today. Just perfect conditions, freshly groomed, fast snow, blue sky, sun. Just lovely.

Cross-country skiing long (classic skiing) 1:15:00 [2]

Classic skiing with my atomic no-wax since I was too lazy to wax. They were brutally slow, I have to get bindings on my new RC11 and start skiing on them. I skied trail 15 that Keski is going to go on. It's so narrow, I'm totally predictiong disaster, there will be many broken poles and pissed off skiers. Especially elite women are going to be stuck behind guys who go out too hard and burn out.

Cross-country skiing tempo (skating) 1:20:00 [3]
shoes: Skate Boots

Skiing with Doug, Ad-Rock and Les from P7 to Champlain and back. Ridge was in awesome shape and pretty quick. I was feeling pretty tired at times, but had very good glide and could reel in Doug on the flats and especially the downhills.
