My new years eve run, this year with Jenny D. As usual, ended up on the Canal, and passed lots of the Running Room cult as they were strolling through their 10 and 5km race. Pretty icy in some sections.

skating in Gat park, up to a party at Huron. Turned into the most expensive ski of my life as I broke one of my skating poles, a Swix Team. Not the end of the world, good think I work at Fresh Air, but not exactly what I'd like to spend money on. I never did like those straps, so maybe I can switch them with someone.
