Strength Training 40:00 [1]

Plyrotechnics or whatever they're called. Jumping drills, working on specific strength.

Running (Run with Ski Poles) 1:25:00 [3]

Long group run, slow on the downhills and then full power go like hell with the ski poles on the up-hills. All in the rain of course.

Running 30:00 [1]

Warm up run, grey nasty day

Running 45:00 [1]
slept:7.0

Warm-up and cool down runs, combined time. A wee bit frosty up there in the hills.

Roller Skiing 30:00 [4]
slept:7.0

Up hill roller ski intervals, ranged from zone 3 (high zone 3) to zone 4 race pace on the last two. I did 6 in total. Classic skiing, mostly working on pole angle as technique work.

Cross-country skiing (Pole running) 1:30:00 [1]

Lots of pole walking/running as I hung out with my flatmate Ian as he did a workout

Cross-country skiing 15:00 [4]

Some intervals pole running up Penguin with Ian, second interval workout of the day, was feeling pretty harsh.

Running 1:00:00 [3]

Run in the Gats at Lac Pink as my friends hiked around it. Re-working stairs up and down each way. Have no idea how far I ran as I was back and forth the whole way.

Running 45:00 [2]
slept:7.0

Warm up and then cool down runs through the Carleton campus and along the canal

Strength Training 45:00 [4]

Core strength training with the ski team. Probably not a good idea after climbing the night before. My hands were killing me from climbing and was really hard to do some of the drills. Finished with silly jumping stuff that Pavol makes us do in public to laugh at us.

Yoga 1:30:00 [1]

First time doing yoga, actually we used to do this stuff at theatre school but it was before it was hip and cool and practiced by soccer moms and sensitive ponytailed guys (special prize to anyone naming that reference)

Didn't feel much afterwards, but will probably be sore the next day. Also from the weights this morning

Running 45:00 [3]
slept:8.5

Just a morning run to gets things going, very tight after the event yesterday. A few legs straight through green too many.

Climbing 1:30:00 [3]

An hour and a half of climbing. First time since I think March or April so wasn't very good. Did some pull-ups and sit-ups at the end.

Orienteering Race 1:09:30 [4] 5.2 km (13:22 / km) +200m 11:13 / km
spiked:9/12c slept:4.5

Orienteering B Meet at Carmen Trails. Alot of running through green woods, although not as nasty thick as it could be in the Gats. My legs really feeling it from yesterday's workout as well as last night's going away party....
