Mountain Biking 1:25:00 [3]

Birthday ride with Hammer!
He decided to give me the gift of half-wheeling ;)
But good chatting, wee rain spells but great temp.

Running 1:05:00 [1]

Well that went poorly! Zero energy and my shins were killing me, which isn't a good sign.
Ice and bike time. And more sleep.

Running 1:05:00 [1]

Friday run, warm one from P7. Still too many bugs as I didn't wear a hat and paid for it.

Mountain Biking 1:00:00 [3]

Hammerfest on Aviation Parkway after a long day at work. Cabinet shuffle, so many conf calls and trying to monitor the Raps trade!

Running 1:05:00 [3]

Excellent trail workout with NFL. Left from Champlain, Dave had 2 loops set up from the intersection at 1 and 1A. I think I got 3 done of loop A and 2 of B, or might have made it to 3 of each. Then cool down of the Champlain loop which is lovely, been years since I've run that.

Note

This is pretty cool about various city's grid outlines:

Of course Calgary and Edmonton are the most straight. Hamilton is a pretty interesting spreadsheet except for King St.

Running 1:10:00 [2]

Very hot sweaty run from P7.

Sunday Jul 15, 2018 #

Running 40:00 [2]

Very warm morning run, legs were tight.

Mountain Biking 2:00:00 [3]

Late afternoon MTB ride from Keogan along Ridge. There are some big hills, mostly long sucky uphills both ways it felt like. A bit toasty warm.

Saturday Jul 14, 2018 #

Running 1:15:00 [3]

Hot run in the Gats from P7.

No bears but many large birds with half-grown chicks. Wild turkeys I guess? Huge pack at the top of Fortune ski hill.

Orienteering Race race 31:00 [5]

Really nice Sprint training from BDT. Some actual nice parts of Hull, who knew?!

I missed the 2nd last control, mega dumb.

Legs not happy and not fast.

Tuesday Jul 10, 2018 #

Running 1:15:00 [3]

Hard run with Nat Fitness Lab from Camp Fortune to Meech and Back. It hurt.

So, found out something annoying about cycling, you need lots of gear.

Drove up to Gatineau Park do mountain bike and once the bike was set-up realized I had forgotten to bring a helmet. So, back in the car, back to town and then out on the roadie for a warm ride.
