Orienteering Race 55:46 [5]

Ontario Champs: Middle

I really enjoyed this. Had to be thinking pretty much the whole way. I was a bit sloppy here and there, got distracted by Bob Miller which was foolish (I'm sure I'm not the first to say that), little mistakes here and there which dragged me down. Also, the wind and cold climbing the big hill at the end was really cold and windy!

The Sat vent could have been bigger, but the courses were good, excellent arena, very experienced organizers. Can't complain.

Also had a good talk about an important initiative for Orienteering in Ontario.

Note

Plans a bit in flux for weekend trip to Hamilton / Toronto.

Anyone from Ottawa looking to car pool on Friday or have room in their car?

Running 1:17:00 [2]

Wasn't asked to pick up controls so Jake and I could go for a lovely run on a great Saturday from P7. Picked there so Annie could hike Skyline and then we scored the bench at Penguin for lunch.

Running 55:00 [2]

Such a great day and night for running.

French class is doing a good job of destroying my training, although it shouldn't be that bad. Life getting in the way.

Mountain Biking 1:30:00 [3]

Morning ride along the rail trail, then Deer Run and another trail that comes out at She Sells Sanctuary Park.
Will try to run this afternoon if anyone is about.

Running 1:19:00 [3]

Hard run with Fred, decided this would be better than Orienteering. Amazing day in the Gats. Old Chelsea, to the Loop, then Trail 15 to MacKing, up Penguin and back on Trail 1.

My iMac needs some work so I'm in the market for a older laptop to use as well if anyone out there has one that is collecting dust.

Or anyone have thoughts on Chromebooks?
