Note
I was going to post in the main room, but didn't want to step on any toes.
The Ice Bug OUSA is very cool news, and, depending on what the details are, could be pretty important. But this is at the core, very very incredibly long over-due. Our sport involves wearing specific running shoes to run through the woods, should be a natural fit.
However, because they launched it without any details it turned into the old JFK line:
Ask not what I can do for Ice Bug, ask how many free shoes I'm getting.
I think even Mars Blackmon knows that there is more to life than the shoes and the focus should be on promotion of O and attraction of new runners through an improvement of their brand.
It will be interesting to see how those with individual shoe sponsors can continue with Ice Bug. I think they should be able to make it work.
