Cycling 1:20:00 [3]

Nice road ride until the end in which I crashed pretty hard for the first time. Some road rash, but didn't hit my head. Bike needs a tune-up for sure now.

Going to NYC until Sunday, this time will not bring running gear I don't think.

Cycling 1:30:00 [2]

I was totally falling asleep after work so went for a hard ride on the crosser.

Just managed to get in before the sky really opened up, but was getting drops by the end.

Running 1:20:00 [3]

Nice hard run with Freddy and Pete. Pete was hurting with a summer cold but Fred and I ran pretty well. Good spring in my step, Freddy said my stride looked good!

Followed this by finally doing my summer waxing at Karl and Megan's place.

Also: anyone out there have a large/XL road bike of any sort they want to get rid of? One of Fred's kids is suddenly around 6'2'' and is looking for one either for transport (cheap 10 speed) or an older decent roadie for training.

Cycling (Mountain Bike) 1:45:00 [3]

Fun ride from O'Brien along whatever trail that is north of Meech. Probably won't do it again because of all the rocks early on, but the second half was great. Pretty awesome weather.

Running 45:00 [2]

Was stuck at work too long today and missed the Dave Run. Hasn't been a fun last couple weeks of work.

Strange the legs are feeling okay after the weekend.

Cycling 1:00:00 [2]

Rough stressful day at work so jumped on the bike and road for an hour out and back. Felt like I was flying on the way out on the Parkway. And then, turned around and realized I had been riding with a serious tailwind the whole way. So, worked harder on the way back.

Orienteering Race 2:18:08 [4] ***** 8.4 km (16:27 / km)
25c

Oh man, this was one tough course. Lac Philippe North B Meet

Stefan and Jennie thought it would be good for the Long Advanced Runners to run a long tough advanced course. Great for the club to do this every so often to make sure people know what a Long feels like.

Also, running in pouring rain in tough woods.

But, when those woods are nice, they are really nice.
