Running 50:00 [2]

Hard run in the valley after really busy and early day at work with the visit of the new US CG today.
Did a bunch of stair repeats and hill repeats.
I need a new pair of training shoes, the Asics are toast.

Running 45:00 [2]

Run in the valley, getting chilly in Edmonton.

Running 1:05:00 [1]

Just your average Saturday afternoon run. Finally fixed the front headlight of the car and bought two new shirts for work. I guess that's a productive Saturday.
Went to the Edmonton Nordic bbq with Siri. The new racing suits look very good and I'll be racing in argyle for the first time in my life.

Strength Training 1:30:00 [1]

Nordic practice, mixture of core strength and hill pole bounding, I guess I shouldn't put it all as strength but can't be bothered to separate it.

Pole walking up the long Folk Fest hill hurts a lot.

Running 45:00 [2]

Saturday afternoon run on a lovely day in Edmonton.
Body still really hurting from Thursday's strength which isn't a good sign.

Strength Training 1:00:00 [1]

Random ski training with Les and the nordic team. Lots of core stuff with medicine balls and then pyrotenics up the hill and some pole bounding as well.
Evidently there's a plan to get new ski gear for Edmonton Nordic, and I've been told Les hasn't been allowed to pick out colours.

Running 1:15:00 [1]

I should start logging again. I'll go back and do the Barebones from the weekend.

Was too late to get to either the Orienteering or the Frank's Race so just went for a run. Took a while for the legs to get going, but was feeling pretty good by the end. That and I got a bug in my eye that I knew I wasn't going to get out until I got home, which made me run harder.

Ran by the Orienteering event, but didn't see many people I knew. A few college girls were talking about how impressed they were with the national team guy who coached them and how they'll be back every week now.
