Running 1:10:00 [2]

Wicked run with Louise at PSP followed by juice and sushi with Patrick.

Somehow I got a serious sunburn on a run in Vancouver in November. I'm sure that happens all the time.

Good times in my one night in Van; mostly at the Brickhouse.

Roller Skiing 1:15:00 [1]

Skate roller-ski with Les along the river, felt pretty smooth but the two of us weren't exactly working that hard. Really nice day to be out training.

Running 45:00 [2]

Running in the River Valley after helping with the Alberta Cross-Country Race at Kinsman. Sunny day, but windy. Good run by the Kenyans from Lethbridge to win. Lots of making plans with Les for Edmonton Nordic.

Cross-country skiing (classic) 45:00 [1]

FIRST SKI of the year! Edmonton got some really wet heavy snow last night while I was at the Empress, but most of it had vanished in my end of town.

But Goldbar had lots of snow, so broke out the Atomic waxless which had zero glide. Next time, should have brought skate skis to double pole.

Actually felt decent classic skiing which was sort of shocking. Still hate my boots.

Is it worth getting my rock skis hot-boxed?

Roller Skiing 1:30:00 [1]

Skate roller-ski with Les and Matt Surrette. Awesome day for skiing and found some perfect new asphalt up by Bruce Wayne's house. Shockingly felt decent expect for some of the long climbs and as usual, my skate technique felt good (classic always feels brutal).

Later went to the Edmonton Nordic Ski Swap which was basically people selling off their used RCS for $350. Yes, that's a wicked deal alright, especially when everyone I talked to were looking to buy rock-skis (although they are like gold, you never sell good rock skis).

Carl Skinstad's wife had a massive collection of stuff for really expensive prices including a number of really old one-piece racing suits.
