Far too old school (aka crap O) for my liking. Nothing wrong with the location of flags, but there was a distinct lack of genuine route choice that led to lots going straight and hoping for the best.

Back on my "MORE SPRINT-O" bent - perhaps we could map the golf course and some of the surrounds at 1:5000 and this area might actually be more interesting.

A bit wet and cold to start with but got out there anyway.

Did a bit of fartlek along Roe Hwy again - EMHM cycles. Actually felt like I was getting up on my toes during the harder efforts (and I could see so much further). I managed to close in on the "pedestrian" pace the 1500m runners were doing in the first lap last night - 3.27min/km was my best - but only for a few seconds. Looks like my dreams of being a world class 1500m runner might have to be shelved.

3km in 13 min - turned out to be in 12:43. I must have started harder than intended because I was slowing right down at the end to try and get the time up to 13min. This is hopefully the first of 4 x 3km runs before trying another 3kmTT in 5 weeks or so.
