Orienteering race 59:43 [5] 6.76 km (8:50 / km) +261m 7:24 / km
shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw 330

H2 at Jumbuck Hill

Did a couple of loops around grass trees before spotting #1. Big climb up to #2 hurt a bit, but no issues in the circle. Got dragged into the saddle a bit early before 3. Clean through to 10 where I stopped on some parallel features a bit early and fluffed around while Ivan ran past. Happy with the rest.

Got smashed by Kjell again!

Control collecting

Saturday Jun 29, 2013 #

Note

Volunteered to set the May 12hr next year with JB (if they haven't already got setters).

WTF have I done??? Last time I did this I was a 19 year old Uni student with heaps of time on my hands!

NavDash race 22:54 [5] 2.9 km (7:54 / km)
shoes: Reebok Roadlite

Long at ECU NavDash

Smooth start up to #5 where I lost a bit of time not looking on the correct side of the wall. Only other mistake (other than optimal route choices) was at 17 when I thought the control was on the inside of the rectangle of buildings, so I made my way in via a gate only to soon realise I needed to be on the outside.

Enjoyed the course and the run.
