Started a tempo session but the outside of my right calf was tight/sore and didn't ease up after 1km at tempo pace, so I eased off and took it slow.

Warm up then 4 x 1km at 4:10, 4:10, 4:00, 4:10, cool down.

Pretty happy with those times. Was looking for some steps to do some extra strength work but couldn't find any.

Orienteering race 1:56:30 [3] **** 12.1 km (9:38 / km) +440m 8:09 / km

M21A at Jumbuck Hill. GPS says 14.74km @ 7:54 min/km. Climb was about 557m (440m on descriptions).

Numerous small errors contributed about 10 minutes over the whole course. One or two route choices weren't great, but nothing really bad.

Wasn't completely spent at the end, unlike last year. I suspect that I took less time today than on a shorter course last year. (2.7km further, 5 minutes faster)

Not the best of runs but not too bad either.
