had only 2 controls that were really a problem, lost 4 min. on #14 and 2 min. on #7. On 7 I was misreading the contours so I was looking for the cliff in a reentrant...duh! Fun course, lots of deadfall that slows me down, can't leap over those downed branches.

OK, I know I'm supposed to be tapering but when the garden calls I have to answer. We're at the cottage and there were just lots of things to do to get ready for winter including digging up some daffodils and replanting them in the newly expanded bed that I prepared. Wouldn't be so bad if that didn't mean digging out the rocks then hauling in some dirt then using the rocks to build a little wall to keep the dirt from washing downhill. But I got it all done and h time to read for an hour before cocktail time in the hot tub :^)
