Forgot to start my watch so I didn't get satelites right away so I stopped the time then started it again real time was 66 min. Pretty clean run but going was slow...typical WP. Beautiful day, sunny, cool.

Webster Park...I am glad to have done this to get used to 1:10 since I've been working with 1:5 lately. There were a couple of places where I could have cut the corner but I didn't...tried to keep out of the thorny bushes which are just coming out and are very sharp.

wrist therapy today, hurt so good. Did a total workout at the gym but kept the weight down just a little for hand stuff. I think my shin pain might have been from the leg extension and abdominal machines since they both put pressure on the lower shin. I did the abs without hooking my ankles andskipped the leg ext. machine....we'll see if this helps.

Durand...went 40 minutes before my shin started hurting...am icing as we speak. Saw the dr. re: wrist...I'm almost totally healed - woo hoo! Don't need to wear my brace any more but I will wear it when I'm running just in case I trip.

I'm back to doing all of the machines that I used to do plus a couple extra that I put in when I broke the wrist but decided to keep doing them even though I can use my hand. I also did hand therapy today, he really worked the wrist hard....it's going to be tough to get back that last little bit of range. Shin feels better.

Went to Senaca Park trying to avoid really steep hills since my shin has been bothering me....it also has wide trails with few roots and rocks. Ended up running behind the Zoo's elephant enclosure and saw the elephants playing with their trainer's doing leg lifts...cool!

had my first hand therapy session today...the ole wrist is looking pretty good with minimal range of motion/strength loss. Doing some strength exercises...so far no pain :^)

first run of the season at Durand, surprising how much it has dried out already. Felt pretty good but am still taking it easy so as not to fall. I have been concentrating on lifting my heels a little more to get a little more clearance when in the woods.
My HR monitor still starts out with the really high reading, there is no way my heart rate gets up over 140 even if I am anaerobic.
