I love snow days! Luckily, we haven't had that much snow this winter that shovelling has gotten tiresome. It was hard today since it's really a warm snow and verrrrry heavy, expecially the 2' the plow left behind my car.

recovering...wanted to go skiing but my ear aches and it's really windy so I stayed inside...not much energy...but I'm reading John Grisham's book of short stories - Ford County and am really enjoying it.

skied back to the car from the cottage, only took 15 min. then stopped at Winona...ended up on a trail that hadn't been used for the last 20 minutes everything else had been newly rolled...woohoo!

didn't take very long to get out to the cottage...smooth ice with a little bit of snow covering....cottage looked good and warmed up fast with no signs of mice!

Mendon Ponds, S section, mostly flat but with some opportunities for bushwacking. Snow was ok on most of the main trails, skatable...would have been nice to have a little more snow on the ground and not have to be so cautious.

first day of subbing...it's a good thing that 6 year olds are cute otherwise getting in the water with them would be out of the question.
