Overwhelmed by the number of poppies that are in bloom along with the weeds. Spent the whole day and got half of the gardens cleared...more to do tomorrow. Water remains high, lost one of the crab apple trees near the edge of the pond as well as a hazelnut bush that had survived the high water 2 years ago. Guess I need to rethink that area.
