Interesting paddle today on what should really have been an uninteresting paddle from Hillarys to Mullaloo and back on a perfect day. Instead I decided to wear my boardies instead of my splat shorts and I didn't stick my deflective padding seat into my ski. The result was I fell in just after we launched from the beach as I was trying to get my shorts flat and the padding in the right place.

Matt decided to lecture me on how balanced he was just before he fell in while riding a little run in towards whitfords point. We continued on to Mullaloo past a friendly dolphin and then the ocean turned all funny just south of Mullaloo and we worked hard to stay upright for a while.

Did a couple of landing son the way back with another swim while trying to sort the seat out again and Matt managed 2 more swims in the meantime.

Then on the way back my seasickness kicked in and I had a couple of empty outs...

Tough run on a slightly 'not-right' stomach after the morning paddle. Time an estimate but should be within a few seconds. Took a few bad route choices and didn't run that well but overall pretty happy today. Didn't really feel like my nav was out of control at any point.

Started of with about 25 mins of upper body weights then a bit of boxing which mostly involved Liz chasing me around and trying to break bits of my face, with a few sessions on the bag in between..... Lots of laughing with the little ranga trying out her superior reach.....:-)

Missed my paddle again this morning due to appointments and didn't really feel up to riding to work so got home late and just rode for an hour with HR in high 130s for most of it. Watched more amazing race.

Deliberately slow ride in today as still not feeling especially well but feeling like I am getting over the worst of the cold. This is a recovery week anyway. Hardest part was stopping myself chasing the other riders..
