Pittstown State Forest near Brunswick, NY. Distance estimated (might have been a little bit longer). Started out running a slight downhill on a woods road, then gentle uphill on another one, for the 1st ~1.3mi. Then turned onto a mountain bike trail that was fairly flat at first, then climbed up a ridge, winding back and forth and wending its way around boulders and through really interesting forest before heading back downhill towards the parking area. Trails were quite muddy due to the rain we've had this past week. :-)
Finally found the Bikerag.com map --
http://www.bikerag.com/images/MAPS/ny_pittstown_re... We started on the road/trail intersection in the southeast corner; I went clockwise (i.e., down the road first) while Glen started up the hill on the bike trail (counterclockwise). We met on the bike trail, probably near it's NW-most point. I continued on CW, while Glen ran to the N-S old road then doubled back.
