Walking 30:45 [3] 2.0 mi (15:22 / mi)

Regular 2-mi walk past MB church; dropped off cards at P.O. and picked up mail from box on my way back.

Running (paved) 39:06 [4] 3.3 mi (11:51 / mi)

Want to keep up my training level from the last two weeks in Oregon/Washington, so I did a run in the afternoon, when it was about 76 degrees (and humid, but not as bad as in early August). Pushed it a bit too, doing the first mile (downhill) in less than 11:00.

Walking 45:00 [2] 2.0 mi (22:30 / mi)

Oregon Dunes State Park. Walked from parking lot across the dunes (walking in sand!) to the ocean, and then up and down the beach. We did other walks this day too (like up to Heceta Head lighthouse; 1/2 mi each way) but I don't have the details so I'm estimating the distance/time.

Walking 47:00 [3] 2.2 mi (21:22 / mi)

Hiked down to Crater Lake on Cleetwood Trail; ~20 minutes down; about 27 min back uphill (700 ft). Beautiful blue lake!

Orienteering race (Green-X) 1:35:00 [4] **** 6.2 km (15:19 / km) +180m 13:23 / km
spiked:12/14c

U.S. Champs Day 2 -- much better than yesterday, but still had mental lapses on controls 1 and 2 (in the same area as yesterday's downfall, #7) worth about 7-8 minutes of error. Drank less water, too, than yesterday--was I overhydrated on Saturday?

Walking 35:00 [3] 2.7 km (12:58 / km)

Walk to start, half of which was uphill.
