Took the opportunity to skip orienteering for quilts (usually orienteering takes precedence over quilts). I'd heard about this exhibit:

...and realized it was only going to be there for a week, so planned a trip (Glen dropped me at Southeast train station off I-84 before heading to Osbornedale) to get me into the city, where I met up with my daughter-in-law, spent a couple hours with her looking at the exhibit, and then were joined by my son for
dinner before we all headed back to Grand Central where I caught a train towards New Haven (they went on to karaoke with friends...). We motel-ed it overnight, and then headed to Ansonia for Sunday's handicapped race.
