Many reps on Carlington Hill. Brought the first Boulder Dash long map with me and relived my race. It was nice to run with a map in hand.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [1] 3.8 km (5:16 / km)

Running 30:32 [1] 5.7 km (5:21 / km)

It's days like these that bring validity to those American claims that we live in arctic conditions. The farm was unpleasently hostile. I'm talking brain freezing, eye popping, face crystalizing cold. Nothing like a heavy dose of -32° windchill to numb everything on your body without two layers and freeze your neck-warmer to your nose.

Running tempo 30:00 [2] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel-1130

Cut tempo run short after detecting twinges left knee. Paranoid about getting injured with half my family visiting Sport Therapists.

XC-Skiing 2:10:00 [1]

Finally! A ski I enjoyed. Avoided cold extremities and excellent snow conditions. That is to say the snow conditions were excellent, not that I avoided them, the conditions I mean.

Brain not working, need food.
