Tough but enjoyable first ski with Phil from P10 to the South of Kingsmere then up and around. Felt like we were going up hill the whole time. I guess we kinda were.

A short and sweet race. Had fun bumping shoulders with all the speedy HS kids. Got stuck behind a group around the third lap and decided if nobody else was going to pick up the pace then I guess it was going to be me... lead for the last loop with four guys managing to stick to my back, two of which surprised me at the line. Very happy with the race. I think I had a bit more to give, especially during that third lap.
