orienteering race 45:00 [3]

The long distance at West Point. Some pain in the legs but at least some jogging and spiked the first two controls. A mistake to the theard made me take the decision to skip the north loop. Anyway good training and a fantastic nature. Erik saw a couple of snakes. I didn't.

Note

Tried to follow Tiomila but there wasn't any Internet connection at the motel. Managed to get the results in my cellphone, wondering what has happened to our first women team. Now I know a bit more. Another team had taken their map and the meet oficials gave them a new map, with wrong course.

orienteering race 22:00 [4] 2.1 km (10:29 / km)

I could have logged walking in New York Wednesday and Thursday. I was really stiff in the legs afterwards. But I didn't. Todays first race was sprint at West Point. No major mistakes but I got tired when running (walking) in the stairs in the end. Not sure of the seconds.

orienteering race 1:05:00 [4] 3.1 km (20:58 / km)

The next race at West Point was the middle distance. Tried to run but ran totally out of energy in the heat. Had to walk almost all the course.

Spinningcycle 20:00 [3]

Cycling at 02.30 in the morning Swedish time. Unusual. But it wasn't Swedish time. Erik was on the treadmill.

Note

A fantastic day at Ratlum Mountain with 150 school kids learning about wood and wildlife. Charlies bear story will be a memory of their lifes.

Spinningcycle 30:00 [2]

6 AM together with Charlie and Rhonda.

Note

I have not changed the clock in my computer so it is going to be a lot of training today.

Orienteering-training 51:00 [4] 3.2 km (15:56 / km)

Charlie was really kind and hang out streamers for the RHINO course that originally was arranged before Christmas. Some bad navigation and very slow speed (sometimes walking). But very fun. Thanks Charlie.
